Set_Screen_Mode

Set_Screen_Mode is a small Hollywood application to automatically set a
screen mode on startup from a pre-set list.

Note: Set_Screen_Mode is only useful if your AROS installation is
running native graphics

It was created to allow machines which are moved between various displays
(such as laptops with an internal screen and externally connected monitors)
to automatically boot up into the preferred screen mode for each of these
displays, and also to help bring up a display on screens which are difficult
to use (for example ones unable to display the default 640x480 mode).

Set_Screen_Mode will read the available screen modes as provided by the
display and compare these to the modes chosen by the user in a priority
ordered list. It is also possible to force a mode even if it is not listed
by the display or ignore the modes set for Set_Screen_Mode entirely.

** Set_Screen_Mode requires some preparatory work before it can be used; please
read through the included guide for setup and usage. **
